Biography

Brian Matsumoto had directed a microscopy facility consisting of transmission and scanning electron microscopes. For light microscopy, the facility contained microscopes capable of fluorescence, differential interference contrast, phase contrast, and darkfield illumination.

Carol Roullard is a prize-winning photographer who has co-written over eight books on using cameras.

With co-author Brian Matsumoto, they have a combined experience in photomicrography of over sixty years.
