About this book

This report presents the results of a preliminary investigation of tern catching along the coast of Senegal/ carried out between 9 December 1987 and 7 January 1988. The reason for this study was the large number of ringing recoveries of European ringed terns along the West-African coast, particularly in Ghana and Senegal. Tern catching has been studied in Ghana, but had not yet been documented for Senegal.
