Spiders in the Cotton Fields in China is a collection of the results of our research on cotton spiders of 20 years and work of Chinese arachnologists. In Spiders in the Cotton Fields in China, characteristics of adults of 204 species and of each instar of spiderlings of 20 species are described, biology, ecology and predation of more than 10 species are explained and community structure, dominant species and their population dynamics of spiders in five Chinese cotton planting areas are analyzed. Finally, some suggestions on conservation and utilization of spiders in cotton fields are given in Spiders in the Cotton Fields in China.
