The Swiss Geologist John Haller devoted his life towards working to understand the geological structure and structural development of the East and Northeast Greenland mountain ranges. He was the chief scientist for the Danish East Greenland Expeditions, compiling their scientific results for the years 1929-1958.
After his premature death in 1984 a wealth of scientific and personal documents were discovered relating to the geological exploration of his area of work. This book aims to connect these documents, exploring the life of John Haller, as well as his work and discoveries.
