Biography

Luna B. Leopold is Emeritus Professor of Geology at the University of California, Berkeley. Former Chief Hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey and winner of the National Medal of Science, he is one of the world's leading authorities on river hydraulics and geomorphology.
