Biography

John Mackinnon is a conservationist who has worked for over 30 years in Asia. His work in China included the preparation of the management plan for Giant Pandas and the setting up of several important reserves, and his books include A Photographic Guide to the Birds of China & Hong Kong (New Holland). Nigel Hicks is a trained biologist with many years' experience of the Far East. He is co-author with John Mackinnon of A Photographic Guide to the Birds of China & Hong Kong (New Holland).
