Developed in association with the Natural History Museum, London, the Joint Nature Conservation Committee, Institute of Terrestrial Ecology, Friends of the Earth and the Ordnance Survey. The disc contains: a directory of environmental organisations in the UK (an updated version of the editor's own Green Index); UK journals articles index; bibliography of key environment titles; international Who's Who of the environment; abstracts of key UK, EC and UN legislation; descriptions of biological species with notes on status; gazetteer, which includes Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs), and the first comprehensive list of nature reserves in the UK.
