A two part work which examines the 1982 UN Convention from an environmental conservation standpoint and serves a reference for its effective implementation. Part I is a detailed analysis of the Convention and its relationship to specific marine conservation issues. Part II is a chart which identifies required initiatives arising out of each obligation of the Convention related to environmental conservation. It also lists those actors who could be instrumental in carrying these initiatives out.
