This book is the first effort to document the threatened flora of Paraguay, botanically one of the least well-known countries in South America. 279 species are classified as threatened. It includes list in IUCN categories, species data sheets, lists of common and scientific names, bibliography, and details of the country's legislation, biogeographic regions and protected areas.
