It's a remarkable compendium, impressive...both in its size and its list of contributing authors...as a reference that provides an overview of almost every aspect of the field, DNA Damage and Repair fills a critical niche. It certainly belongs in every well-stocked institutional library and also belongs on the reference shelf of every laboratory where people work on DNA repair. My review copy of Volume 1 was barely out of its wrapper when others in the lab began clamoring for a look at it. - Trends in Biological Sciences The present volume of DNA Damage and Repair complements and extends the two previous ones. In my opinion, the most valuable components of this book are comprehensive reviews of DNA repair in systems which have been underexploited with regard to this area of research. this third volume of DNA Damage and Repair is a highly useful text for certain areas of the field, and should be accessible as a library reference - Cell
