This volume considers the vegetable Umbelliferae, particularly carrots, celery, fennel, parsley and parsnip. It also provides brief coverage of lesser known vegetable Umbelliferae such as coriander, chervil and skirret as well as herbs such as dill, anise, caraway and cumin.
