About this book

Language: English

From the preface:

"The 'Oamarus' had always had a magic spell on diatomologists. The samples held in them many interesting forms. One of us (T.V.D.) visited New Zealand in 1955 and collected samples for working. But tardiness overtook zeal. Many others who were similarly interested began studying these. It was not until the 70s that we came back to studying these samples. [...] The result of the study is the present publication, an illustrated synopsis of the Oamaru Diatom Flora."
