Biography

Claus Konig is Professor of Zoology at Stuttgart University, and a Director of the Museum of Natural HIstory in Stuttgart. He has studied owls for over 30 years and has described three new species of Neotropical owls to science. He has written or co-authored 15 books on birds or mammals. He has also written numerous magazine articles and made several films for television.
