This volume is a compilation of the proceedings of a meeting from April 24th-26th 1995, when scientists gathered at the United Nations World Headquarters to discuss a broad range of scientific issues associated with near-Earth objects (NEOs). The primary focus of the topics was directed toward the need for gathering and interpreting scientific data to understand the Earth's past history, evaluate current astronomical observations, and outline future exploration missions to NEOs.
