Well known for his devotion to his art (taking pictures practically in the mouth of a great white shark, etc), Rotman here combines some eloquent writing with a gallery of fantastical photographs to create an imaginary reportage of the sea. Unlike most marine picture books, this manages to encapsulate the all too real dangers of the sea while capturing the inherent beauty within such moments.
