About this book

An examination of vegetation changes over the past one hundred years in the easternmost range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The authors collected and rephotographed the scenes of approximately seventy landscape photographs taken between 1870 and 1915. With the aid of detailed forest sampling they were able to show dramatic and subtle changes in the composition and structure of the forests of the Front Range.
