About this book

Language: Trilingual in English, French, and Spanish

This multi-lingual text relates to all species listed in CITES Appendices I, II and III (as of 18 September 1997). It is the fifth edition of the annotated edition. The data is presented in a new format: arranged in columns by scientific name, CITES appendix, dates, and additional notes.

The original listing date is given for all taxa (orders, families, genera, species, subspecies, varieties) and populations specifically named in the appendices, either currently or in earlier versions. All reservations entered by Parties are listed, with the dates on which they entered into force and, in the case of past reservations, the dates on which they were withdrawn.
