About this book
This volume collates the proceedings of the Global Conference on Small and Medium Scale Mining held in Calcutta, which was convened to direct the spotlight of attention onto this vital segment of global mining industry. This book aims to delve into the many dimensions of small and medium scale mining and to take stock of the emerging issues.
