About this book
The Water Quality and Management for Recreation and Tourism conference brought together engineers, scientists and managers concerned with the management of water and wastewater in situations where recreation and tourism pose special challenges. The papers published in these proceedings discuss problems that develop in small water bodies - swimming pools, waterslides and spas - as well as the problems associated with larger water bodies - canals, rivers, lakes and coastal waters. The four main areas covered are management and planning, microbiology, ecotoxicology and analytical chemistry.
