About this book

The story of one man's vision to create a village in one of the most brutal environments in the world – the Colombian Llanos. The village would be able to sustain itself agriculturally, economically and artistically, demonstrating that if a community could survive here, then it could do so anywhere. Gaviotas is a book about people that dared to change their world, and in the process changed the world we all live in.
