Biography

Mostafa K. Tolba is Professor of Biology at Cairo University and President of the International Center for Environment and Development, Cairo. Iwona Rummel-Bulska is Principal Legal Officer and Chief, Environmental Law Branch, Division of Environmental Law and Conventions, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). She worked closely with Professor Tolba during the negotiations of the major agreements discussed in this book.
