About this book

Language: Russian with English summary (4 pp.)

The book presents the results of the long collaboration of the authors in the field of inorganic composite materials, as well as their views about the structure formation, properties and rheological behavior of the disperse systems, obtained on the basis of theoretical and experimental investigations of silicate-based compositions. Different kinds of disperse systems are examined, obtained from solid inorganic disperse phases, mainly in liquid media. This kind of systems has a great importance and is widely used in different fields of technology. They are also widespread in nature. These are pastes and suspensions, usually highly-filled with a polydisperse solid phase. Nonetheless, these systems are also important in the opening stage of technology for obtaining various disperse materials, i.e. till the obtaining of the hardened compositions as a result of chemical processes and realization of the phase transitions. For example, cement and silicate concretes are obtained through crystallizational structural formation after the end of the processes of hydratational hardening. The structure of the ceramic materials is formed as a result of hardening during the baking of the clay components.
