This text examines the structural evolution of the Earth's crust from the Triassic period to the present. The book describes the patterns of distribution, and the composition and accumulation conditions of formations in the various geological periods in all the continents and oceans. This is followed by an analysis of the disposition and development of the main structural units of the Earth's crust which existed in a given period. The continents and oceans are treated in a similar way. The book is designed for the use of scientists engaged in studying the different aspects of geology and metallogeny.
