During the summer and autumn months of 1998 volunteer observers carried out a further 12 cetacean transect surveys from two passenger ferries passing through the Bay of Biscay. This report details the results of these surveys. The number of sightings and individuals are recorded for each species, together with comments on relative abundance, distribution patterns and behaviour.
