Biography
Robert Isaak received his BA at Stanford University and PhD at New York University. He has authored nine books, the most recent being Managing World Economic Change (Prentice-Hall, 1995, third edition forthcoming). In addition to consulting for firms such as Siemens, Technicon and Prudential Intercultural, he has taught at a number of universities, including Johns Hopkins University, Heidelberg University, New York University, The New School for Social Research and Pace University of New York, where he presently is a full-time Professor of Management and International Business. He undertook the research for this book while on a Fulbright Senior Grant at the Alfred Weber Institute at the University of Heidelberg where he taught 'Ecological Theory, Competitiveness and Environmentally Oriented Entrepreneurship'.
