Traditional Sweep Net - Bag and Frame

This Traditional Sweep Net is purposefully designed for collecting invertebrates from grass and soft vegetation. The five-sided lightweight aluminium frame gives a better sampling sweep than circular frames and the wooden handle is strong and comfortable to hold. The net bags are made from fine white nylon material and have a curved foot to help prevent insects escaping. 

Available in three sizes to suit your particular needs.

Replacement bags can be purchased separately. We also supply Heavy Duty Sweep Net Bags which are more suitable for use in xerophytic vegetation and coarse vegetation such as nettle and thistles. They are also more tolerant of `student' use.
