Plants and plants products are of direct and vital importance to the rural population in most of Africa. Knowledge of the uses, even of the local names, of many of these plants is gradually being lost. This CD provides information gathered locally, as well as from the available literature. Over 250 plants are listed here alphabetically together with brief descriptions, ecological information, uses and propagation where appropriate.
