This series covers the extensive region that lies at the interface of Eurasia and America. The 10 projected volumes will constitute the first major regional review and include the following divisions: Lycopodiophyta, Equisetophyta, Pteridophyta, Pinophyta and Magnoliophyta, i.e. 160 families, nearly 800 genera and about 4000 species.
