Named after the Spanish word for summer, the 2010 Opticron Verano BGA PC Oasis binoculars build on the strengths of previous models offering
unbeatable performance and value in a brand new super lightweight polycarbonate and alloy body. The design is both elegant and simple, and delivers a
range of Opticron BGA models with finished weights between 524g and 654g.
These Japanese made models utilise a high quality fully multi-coated, internally focused roof prism optical system which has been 'balanced-out' to deliver optimum colour contrast across a wide range of different light conditions. The combination of high quality PC phase corrected prism and Oasis high reflection prism coatings maximise light transmission and resolution while the complex multi-element eyepiece designs ensure comfortable vision for spectacle wearers with minimal edge distortion.
Mechanically the Verano benefits from:
* Internal focusing with close focus to 1.8 metres or under.
* Nitrogen waterproof construction to a depth of 3 metres.
* Highly durable textured rubber covering for comfort and grip.
* Revised Opticron `house style' wide wheel focusing.
* 4 stage smooth action aluminium twist type eyecup assemblies.
