Biography

Anthea Phillipps has a degree in Botany from Durham University, and worked at the Kinabalu Park headquarters for six years as the Park Ecologist. Anthea's areas of speciality were rhododendrons and pitcher-plants, on which she has co-authored a number of books. She currently lives in Kota Kinabalu. Francis Liew BSc joined Sabah Park Services in 1973 as a Park Warden in charge of Kinabalu Park after graduating from the University of New Brunswick, Canada in Resource Management. He is the former Deputy Director of Sabah Parks in charge of the Research and Education Division. He lives in Borneo.
