Books
Working in close collaboration with Professor William Sutherland at
the University of East Anglia, we have distributed copies of his Conservation
Handbook and Bird Ecology & Conservation to people working in science and conservation in developing
countries. The next title to be offered is Ecology: From Individuals to Ecosystems.
"Thanks a million for your thoughtfulness. I received the Conservation
Handbook. It is very useful to my project. Once again thank you very
much and may the good God bless us all as we strive to make the environment
a better place to live." J Grody Dorbor, Liberia
World
Land Trust
The Books for Conservation programme is an exciting partnership between
the World Land Trust and NHBS. From simple beginnings in 2002 when we
donated surplus books to the WLT, this programme has developed into
an important resource for struggling NGOs throughout the world. To date
NHBS have donated hundreds of books to this WLT donation programme.
