Adult weevils from South Carolina in the families Curculionidae, Attelabidae, Brentidae, Ithyceridae, and Nemonychidae, exclusive of the Apioninae and
Scolytinae, are keyed and described. These weevils total 522 species in 181 genera that have been reported from or are likely to occur in the state.
Included are diagnostic keys and diagrams to aid in identification, a photograph of one species from each genus, data on rage in South Carolina and in
North America, months of collection of adults in South Carolina, and host plants. New state records total 121.
