SOCIETY FOR MARINE MAMMALOGY

The Society for Marine Mammalogy was founded in San Francisco, California, on December 15, 1981. Any person is qualified for full membership who is a professional in natural science or the management, husbandry, conservation or training of marine mammals. The Society publishes the quarterly journal Marine Mammal Science, a quarterly Newsletter and Special Publications.				SMM AIMS To evaluate and promote the educational, scientific and managerial advancement of marine mammal science To gather and disseminate to members of the Society, the public and public and private institutions, scientific, technical and management information To provide scientific information, on matters related to the conservation and management of marine mammal resources
