Plant Talk is published quarterly by the National Tropical
Botanical Garden (NTBG). NTBG runs gardens and preserves in
Florida and Hawaii, under a US Congressional Charter. Plant Talk
is edited by Hugh Synge and managed by Mary Shuford at NTBG. Hugh
Synge and John Akeroyd started Plant Talk in 1995 as a periodical
for all those with a serious interest in plants and their
conservation. Hugh and John continue today as part of the Plant
Talk team under the National Tropical Botanical Garden.
