The object of this Society shall be the advancement of the science
of systematic biology in all its aspects of theory, principles,
methodology, and practice, for both living and fossil organisms,
with emphasis on areas of common interest to all taxonomists
regardless of individual specialization" (SSB Constitution,
Article II). Papers for Systematic Biology are to be original
contributions of theory, principles, and methods of systematics as
well as evolution, morphology, biogeography, paleontology,
genetics, and classification
All those intersted in Systematics are invited to join the
Society.
