The European Society for Evolutionary Biology was founded in 1987. The Society endeavours to accomplish it's objectives through the publication of the Journal of Evolutionary Biology, through meetings, and the John Maynard Smith award. Those interested in Evolutionary Biology are invited to join the Society.
