The Society for International Development (SID) is a unique global
network of individuals and institutions concerned about
sustainable development. SID has over 3,000 individual members in
125 countries, 55 institutional members and 65 local chapters. It
works with more than 100 associations, networks and institutions.
SID facilitates international programmes on food security,
sustainable livelihoods, gender, health, globalization, conflicts
over natural resources, scenario building and responsible
international governance.

SID AIMS
- To create a network across sectoral interests that can advocate
for a supportive political and economic environment for
reproductive rights and health policy
- To catalyse these at key political moments where reproductive
health and rights needs to be mainstreamed
- To build the capabilities of women's groups working in the SID
network on reproductive health and rights
