NHBS Xchange Terms & Conditions

1. Becoming a Member of NHBS xchange
To become a member of NHBS Xchange ("Xchange") you need to submit a completed application form to NHBS. See the Xchange page.

2. Membership is available to nonprofit or commercial organisations from any country. Size is not a precondition. Your organisation may be local, regional national or international in scope.

3. NHBS does however reserve complete discretion to refuse any application without giving its reasons.

4. If your application is successful NHBS will notify you by email after receiving your properly completed application form. As soon as you receive that notification from NHBS, you become a member of Xchange and are entitled to the benefits described below.

Your membership of Xchange will be subject to the following terms and conditions. They will start to apply as soon as you become a member of the scheme.

5. Benefits of Xchange participation: free web page
First, as a participating organisation you will be entitled to a free web entry in the Xchange Directory. NHBS will design the entry for you from the information you supply. In order to protect the form and content of its directory NHBS retains complete discretion in the drafting of your entry.
NHBS may amend your entry at any time as NHBS sees fit.
You may at any time submit new material for NHBS to include in your entry. NHBS has discretion whether to accept that material and the form in which it should be included in the entry.

6. Obligations of organisations participating in NHBS Xchange
(i) Your obligations as a participating organisation of NHBS Xchange are few. In the first place, any information that you supply to NHBS for your free web page must be accurate. NHBS cannot accept responsibility for the accuracy of that information and if as the result of any inaccuracy NHBS finds itself the subject of any claims demands or proceedings you must give NHBS a full indemnity.
(ii) While you are a member of the scheme you must display at the web address stated in your Xchange Application Form at least one NHBS banner, icon or text link which you may choose from a range of links to be supplied to you by NHBS.
(iii) Either you or NHBS may terminate your membership at any time by giving written notice to the other. Upon termination of your membership NHBS will, in due course, remove your entry from the Xchange directory.

7. Miscellaneous
NHBS may vary the terms of your membership of the scheme at any time. The law of England shall regulate NHBS Xchange.
