About this product

The Skóros moth trap features an innovative low-cost design and makes it an excellent choice for an economic battery-powered Moth Trap. Its design is comparable to compact Heath Moth Traps, featuring a single bulb suspended vertically between three vanes to deflect moths down towards the catchment area. However, the trap has a rigid base that is robust and lightweight, and doesn't require any assembly. This trap is available with and without a solar switch, which automatically turns the trap on at dusk and off at dawn, thereby maximising the battery life.

The trap will run for 10 hours using a 22Ah lead-acid battery or for 6 hours using a 14Ah lithium battery. Please note that the battery and charger are not included with this trap and must be purchased separately. The light source is a 20W actinic bulb, please see the Accessories for suitable replacement bulbs.
