About this product

A small, lightweight moth trap suited to trapping in the garden or anywhere near a mains supply.

This 15W Heath-type moth trap is made from durable lightweight polypropylene and is fully waterproof. It's easily assembled and can be disassembled to a compact size for storage.

The light source is a 15W actinic bulb. Catches tend to be lower than with a mercury vapour trap but the actinic light is easier on the eye so is more suitable for a garden setting. The same number and species of moths can be caught if trapping takes place over a number of nights or if several traps are used within the recording area. A replacement actinic bulb can be purchased for this trap.

This is a 240V trap which requires a mains power supply. Mains plug included.

Features:
* Lightweight trap
* Runs from mains or 240V generator
* 15W actinic tube
