About this book

Language: Bilingual in English and Farsi

This is a book about some of the beautiful and showy wild flowers that can be found in the Iranian mountains. Each species is briefly described, with a minimum of botanical terms. General distribution, the distribution in Iran, habitat and altitudinal range, and flowering times are given. For each species there is also a map showing their distribution in Iran. All photos have been taken in the wild, almost all by the author.

Please note: although bilingual in English and Farsi, the book follows the Farsi customs for binding, meaning that it has been bound with pages numbered from back to front.
