This is wildlife film producer Paul Wetton's personal account of his travels around the British countryside in 2011, showing over 2 hours of British wildlife footage. This wildlife video diary begins on a freezing January afternoon with a Barn Owl and a Short-eared Owl hunting together at Willington Gravel Pits in Derbyshire. It continues through the year showing beautiful spring orchids, Water Voles, breeding British birds, migrant waders, amazing dragonflies and much more. As the weather again turns cold, a final trip is taken on Christmas Eve to watch displaying Goosander on Nottingham University boating lake.
