Flora Nordica

The "Flora Nordica" project is led from the Swedish Museum of Natural History in cooperation with the Bergius foundation, and combines the efforts of many specialists in the Nordic countries to work out a scientific taxonomic and biogeographical treatment of wild, naturalized, and casual plants occurring in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Faroes, and the Norwegian Arctic Islands.

The next volumes due to be published are volumes 3 and 12.

Please note that since 2008 Flora Nordica has run out of funding. Although several authors have delivered accounts for later volumes (e.g., for Cruciferae, Orchidaceae, Potamogeton), the continuation of Flora Nordica beyond volume 6 is therefore uncertain.
