Flora of Pakistan

Comprehensive and accessible flora of this region, initiated in 1968 with the first fascicle being published 2 years later. It is thought that by the time the Flora is completed, some 5,700 species will have been treated. Fascicles 1-202 were published by the University of Karachi Press between 1970 and the early 1990s, when funding from USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) was withdrawn. Fascicles 202-219 were a cooperative effort between the University of Karachi and the Missouri Botanic Garden. Please note that from volume 220 onwards, publishing has reverted to the Centre for Plant Conservation at the University of Karachi, but it has not proven possible to get hold of these so NHBS is not currently offering these for sale.
