About this book

Language: Spanish

A series of field guides to trees native to Argentina, this second volume deals with those of Patagonia. It is not only a guide that allows the reader to identify the species but also gives you a complete overview of the Patagonian ecosystem. It tells us what the ecological regions are, what native peoples lived before the arrival of Western man, the religious and mythical references related to trees and other details. The species descriptions are very complete, with the phenology of the species, several photos of the different parts of the tree, a map with the distribution, plus some detailed and extensive texts that contain a lot of information about the characteristics to identify the tree and also about its wood and uses.
