About this book

Language: French

This botanical atlas is the result of the work carried over more than 20 years by a team of the National Botanical Conservatory of the Paris Basin in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Two million data points relating to 2,110 vascular plants (ferns and flowering plants) were thus compiled. It is part of the series of atlases written by the National Botanical Conservatory of the Paris Basin on its amenity territory and constitutes a culmination for the Centre-Val de Loire after the Loire Valley, the Eure-et -Loir and the Loiret.

Features:
- presentation of natural regions, their geology, climate and natural environments;
- detailed monographs of 1,560 species that include a distribution map, evolutionary dynamics of regional populations, habitats, advice for identification, and confusion species. A total of 550 accidental and / or introduced species are processed in the form of simplified entries;
- puts the status of each species into perspective with the old distribution and abundance records
- photographs for each species (excluding accidental species).

This book is intended for anyone wishing to discover or learn more about the flora of the Centre-Val de Loire. It will also be a useful guide and reference book for natural heritage managers, developers, and decision-makers.

- la présentation des régions naturelles, leur géologie, leur climat et leurs milieux naturels ;
- les monographies détaillées de 1 560 espèces : carte de répartition, dynamique d’évolution des populations régionales, habitats, conseils pour l’identification et risques de confusion. Les espèces accidentelles et/ou introduites (550 espèces) sont traitées sous forme de notices simplifiées ;
- la mise en perspective du statut de chaque espèce avec les mentions anciennes de répartition et d’abondance ;
