This work contains 27 thematic documents in the field of botany, zoology, ecology, ethnography, anthropology, sociology and economics. There are descriptions and recommendations for 385 priority areas for birds, aquatic biota, mammals, invertebrates, botany, reptiles and amphibians, conservation areas, environmental goods and services, new economic opportunities, traditional populations and indigenous peoples, anthropogenic pressures, development corridors and hubs. There are also general recommendations for sectoral policies, conservation systems, economic development, and scientific research in the Amazon region.
