About this product

The collection of recordings presented here (4400 sound recordings of over 1100 Venezuelan bird species) has a total playing time of 33 hours. For a large number of species treated, no recordings were commercially available until now, and some recordings are of species for which calls were unknown or undescribed.

The DVD-ROM Birds of Venezuela includes:
- 1700 pictures of 775 bird species,
- 4400 soundrecordings of 1100 species,
- 1264 species are documented, all with their accompanying distribution map (of which 1380 in total for all Venezuelan species).

Compatibility for PCs has been tested by the author for Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.
