The BugDorm-6 Insect Rearing Cage consists of a robust aluminium frame constructed from individual poles and connectors. The mesh tent threads onto this frame to form a self-contained enclosure which is large enough for small potted plants and in which insects and other bugs can be reared and maintained safely. The frame is positioned outside of the enclosure which means that there are no folds or crevices for bugs to hide in.
This rearing cage has a large zippered opening in the front panel which allows the addition and removal of plants and feeders. In the centre of this panel is also an 18cm diameter sleeve opening which can be used to provide food and remove insects with minimal risk of insect escape. It has 680µm aperture, polyester mesh on the top, right and left panels.
