This book is a selection of pictures clicked by 17 year old Akshay Lall over the last four years. A veteran of 30 expeditions to wildlife sanctuaries in India and Kenya, Akshay has clicked thousands of pictures – this book presents his favorite ones.
Some are great ‘first’ memories or ‘special moments’; others, fond remembrances. The wild is a whole new world for Akshay – a world where he is perfectly content; where he feels most at home and in complete harmony with nature. A world where he can discover himself. This book is Akshay's tribute to the beauty of the wild and all things that make up the wild – the bushes and trees, the birds and animals, even the sands, stones and rivers.
Through this book, Akshay hopes to communicate not only his passion and love for the wild but also his concern regarding the unfortunate decimation of nature. He seeks to impact the way people view and connect with the wild.
